Ithaca College Information Technology Services (ITS) has officially started an initiative to develop their strategic plan to be enacted over a five-year span. Under new leadership from Gerald Hector, Vice-President of Finance & Administration, and ITS Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Keith "Mac" McIntosh, the group has engaged in several thoughtful discussions about the services we provide, and the ever-changing technological landscape that affects how we live, learn, and work at Ithaca College.

Our development of a long-term strategic plan is meant to bring our recent new mission and vision statements to life with meaningful purpose and direction. Our mission statement focuses on partnering with the college community to provide the leadership, innovative technology solutions, and services necessary to meet the overall College mission. We intend to use that statement to help inform and guide us in everything we do.

ITS will be pursuing an aggressive timeline to develop this plan by April 2015, and will be actively seeking collaboration from the entire campus community throughout the process to best align ourselves with the goals and objectives of the college. We will be sending communications as well as asking for your feedback and participation to help us create our plan. Look for more Intercom notices about our comprehensive strategy over the coming months.

ITS is committed to ensuring clear and informative communications, and with your help, we can become an innovative and engaged division that makes a strong impact on the future growth of Ithaca College.
