THATCamp (thatcamp.org) is an open, informal, inexpensive meeting where people interested in the humanities and sciences will learn and build together in collaborative, informal workshops and short sessions.

THATCamp Humanties + Sciences 2014: An “Un-conference” bridging the Humanities and Sciences.

Friday   November 7 12pm – 5pm & Saturday  November 8 8:30am – 5pm

Come to both days, one day, one portion of a day… your choice.

Register at: http://humsci2014.thatcamp.org/

FREE to members of the IC community (faculty, staff, students)

Examples of session topics: Chemistry and Color, Illustration and Nature, Mathematics and Free Will, Computers and Local Music, Knowledge and Knowing: the First 3 Billion Years

Some time slots in the schedule are left as “to-be-filled-in,” so that participants can (if they so choose) host spontaneous sessions that explore ideas proposed during the conference itself.
