Facilities News: Ernie McClatchie's Role Expanding

(The following message is being submitted on behalf of Dr. Timothy Carey, Associate Vice President, Facilities)

 I am pleased to share with the IC Community that Ernie McClatchie, Director of Grounds and Transportation, has accepted an appointment to expand his scope of responsibility within the Facilities Department.  In addition to his continued management of the College’s Grounds and Transportation functional units, Ernie will now also assume leadership oversight of all of the Maintenance Shops, which include: Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Electrical, Plumbing, Preventative Maintenance, and  Structural (carpentry, painting, masonry, etc.).  The expanded role will enable more focused and streamlined leadership of all of the units within Ernie’s purview, resulting in enhanced delivery of first-rate customer service to our valued students, colleagues and visitors.
