Join Ithaca College as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during our MLK Campus-Wide Celebration Event! On Monday, January 19, 2015, students, staff, faculty and community members will honor Dr. King by coming together to discuss the relevance of his work today.

Whose dream is it anyway? The first-year MLK Scholars and our Keynote Speaker have dreams of theirs to share.

The MLK Day Celebration Event has a lot in store. Beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, the first-year MLK Scholars will give a presentation relating to their experiences on a Civil Rights Tour during Fall Break 2014. Following that, Tedx Talk-famous Ash Beckham will share how coming out as a lesbian helped her appreciate our common humanity and better understand the hardships that we all face in a keynote titled, “Give Voice to Your Truth.”

Join us on Monday in celebration!

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs at osema@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
