Study abroad in Galway, Ireland this July and attend and volunteer at 2 major arts festivals! Over 3 weeks, you’ll earn 2 academic credits and be placed in volunteer positions on the Galway Film Fleadh (www.galwayfilmfleadh.com) and/or Galway International Arts Festival (www.giaf.ie)* . Galway was recently named “Official City of Film” by UNESCO… right in time for your visit!
You'll watch and learn and do while festivals take over this vibrant seaside city, internationally known for its culture and “craic”… that’s the Irish word for fun! As part of the experience, you’ll be attending and producing dozens of theater, film, music, art, and dance events throughout the city, working side-by-side with Irish theater and film professionals.
Other excursions include daytrips to the Aran islands and the Cliffs of Moher.
