Are you the mother of a child who is a picky eater between the ages of 6 months and 12 years old? Have you received advice on children with picky eating habits? If yes, you may want to participate in the short survey “Information Received by Mothers about their Children’s Eating Habits" linked below.
The purpose of this study is to determine where parents get information about their child’s eating habits and what advice/information has been helpful for mothers with children with eating difficulties.
If you choose to participate, you will need to take a survey on your child’s eating habits and information on picky eating. On average, the survey should take 10-15 minutes though it may take longer depending on how much you choose to write in the open responses. We’ll analyze the responses to help us better understand what information on picky eating parents are receiving.
Occupational therapists use evidence-based interventions and may help parents to access information about their children’s developmental and health related concerns. By knowing more about where mothers are accessing health information, occupational therapists may be able to appropriately target where information found through clinical research can best be shared.
