Trip to the Museum of the Earth on Saturday, February 21, 2015! This local museum is exceptional. Let's go, "Explore Earth and its prehistoric past—from the tiniest trilobite to the mighty mastodon— through engaging displays, hands-on features, stunning fossils, and science-inspired art" (www.priweb.org/). Don't miss exciting science opportunity (did I mention the mastodon?). One of the current exhibits, Quirks of Nature, features the work of Rosemary Mosco, a popular, brilliant, and creative science communicator. Read more about Rosemary Mosco here:birdandmoon.com.
The expected cost of the trip is $9. Admission to the museum is $6 and bus fare will be $3 (you can also purchases passes for the TCAT from here:http://www.tcatbus.com/). We will be providing lunch. Registration is limited, so sign up soon! The survey will remain open after the slots have filled up. I will email you letting you know if you have been registered or wait-listed and send along the required forms. We will meet at 9:20 AM outside of the Roy Park School and return to campus before 2:30 PM.
