Associate Professor Cory Brown, Writing Department, has published a personal essay in the nonfiction and art magazine South Loop Review, out of Columbia College Chicago. The essay, entitled "Compliance," also won finalist in Missouri Review's 2013 essay competition and will appear later this year in the local literary magazine States of Mind. The essay is about his sister's death.
