Join us for a Lunch and Learn: "What is Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions?" Workshop, March 5th at 12:10pm in Friends 209, in which we will listen to an engaging lecture surrounding the topic of the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against the state of Israel. We are inviting a Cornell Law Professor, Dr. William Jacobson to share his perspective of what BDS is, and how to interact with those who support the movement.

Professor Jacobson is the founder and publisher of two popular websites, Legal Insurrection and College Insurrection, which receive over 1 million page views per month.

Legal Insurrection has covered the Boycott, Divest and Sanction movement for years. Legal Insurrection is at the forefront of opposing the academic boycott of Israel, and has been cited at major publications such as The Jerusalem Post, The Times of Israel, Fox News, Forbes, National Review, Inside Higher Ed, Commentary Magazine, and throughout the blogosphere.

Legal Insurrection maintains the definitive list of rejections of the academic boycott by over 200 University Presidents, and has filed a challenge to the American Studies Association tax exempt status.

This Lunch and Learn event is free and open to public!
