OSEMA will once again offer two awards for students who volunteered - either as an individual or part of a student organization - between April 2014 and April 2015:
Outstanding Service Organization Award
Now in its fourth year, this award is presented to one registered student organization that demonstrates exemplary community service beyond the Ithaca College campus. Service recorded for this award needs to have taken place between May 1, 2014, through April 30, 2015
President’s Volunteer Service Award
The President’s Volunteer Service Award recognizes individuals who have achieved the required number of hours of service over a 12-month time period. This is among the highest recognitions for commitment to service in the United States. Students MUST apply before Tuesday, March 31, in order to receive the award. Students may submit an application on behalf of their community service organization at IC, as well. Students and groups who have engaged in sustained volunteer efforts from May 1, 2014, through April 30, 2015, are encouraged to apply for this prestigious national award.
