Educational Technology Day - This Thursday!

Ithaca College’s 25th annual Educational Technology Day will be held this Thursday, March 19th, from 9 AM to 4 PM in the Campus Center Emerson Suites and surrounding locations. The event features a vendor showcase with national and local technology companies, a college showcase with faculty and staff showing how they are using technology in and out of the classroom, and a series of seminars by IT thought-leaders, faculty, vendors and others. The event is free and open to the public, including all faculty, staff and students.
Ed Tech Day 2015 features:
- Over 60 national and regional vendors including Apple, Adobe, AT&T, Brocade, Dell, eInstruction, Epson America, HP, Kaltura, Scantron, Steelcase, and many others.
- 55 seminars on topics such as Flipped Classrooms, Networking, iBooks, Cloud Computing, Startups, IT Leadership, IT Funding, Teaching and Learning, K-12 computing and more.
- Special features including:
- Featured Sessions: featuring nationally recognized thought-leaders discussing various aspects of technology, leadership and innovation.
- The Teaching and Learning with Technology Symposium: track with presentations by faculty and students about using technology in the classroom.
- Startup Central: featuring new up-and-coming companies and organizations
- Reflect Back and Imagine Forward: A chance to help us all think about how technology has evolved over the years and where it might be heading
