The Recording Academy, best known for the GRAMMY Awards, created GRAMMY U to help prepare college students for their careers in the music industry through events and special programs such as networking, educational programs and performance opportunities. GRAMMY U is designed to enhance students' current academic curriculum with exclusive access to companies and professionals in the entertainment industry, providing members with an "out of the classroom" perspective.
Events are scheduled throughout the semester to give GRAMMY U members a wide variety of experiences and professional development. Because we are part of The Recording Academy, members have extraordinary access to the industry and its artists.
