Education Department faculty and staff present at the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) in Atlanta

Faculty and staff members from the Education Department recently delivered a presentation at the annual AACTE meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. Ellie Fitts Fulmer (Assistant Professor), Cristina Gomez (Assistant Professor), Jeane Copenhaver-Johnson (Associate Professor and Chair), Linda Hanrahan (Associate Professor and Chair of Graduate Programs in Education), and Emily Hess (Coordinator of Field Experiences/edTPA Coordinator) presented, “Making [Good] Choices: edTPA Narratives from Teacher Educators in an Early-Adoption State.” The presentation, delivered with Dr. Kathleen Hinchman of Syracuse University, offered insights from the first year faculty and staff who implemented the edTPA performance assessment in two New York State teacher preparation programs.
