Wayne French will be retiring from Ithaca College on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 after 35 years of dedicated service.
During his time at Ithaca College Wayne served many roles, including, but not limited to oversight of the Print Shop and Warehouse operations and the management of various campus purchasing and surplus operations. During his tenure at IC, Wayne managed the College’s copier replacement program which has seen tremendous change from stand-alone copiers in almost every office to multi-function devices allowing access to network printing, faxing, scanning, emailing and copying. The installation of these devices resulted in an overall reduction in copier/fax equipment utilized across campus. Under Wayne’s leadership the Center for Print Production was transformed into a state-of-the-art facility, able to serve the varied needs of the campus community. Recent successes of the Center for Print Production include receiving Forest Stewardship Council certification and the introduction of the new WebCRD print job submittal tool.
Please stop by the Center for Print Production during the day on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 to wish Wayne well and to recognize his years of service and commitment to Ithaca College.
