Ithaca College ITS is pleased to announce that Campus Center is now ready to enter into the testing phase for their new Wi-Fi environment. Between now and March 24th, we are continuously testing the performance of the network and are asking the community for feedback on any issues.
Once testing confirms successful network performance, the building will move from ‘testing’ to a ‘completed’ status. This expected completion will mark the ninth building to enter the new updated wireless environment at Ithaca College.
Special thanks to our installers and the ITS Network Services team for completing this work in time for the 25th Anniversary of Ed Tech Day, which is tomorrow, March 19th. This event draws hundreds of people to campus center, and we will be able to to really test the system and deliver robust and dependable Wi-Fi service to all visitors, as well as our IC community. If you would like to discuss the project a with member of ITS, or have any questions, we will be hosting a booth at the college showcase and would be happy to speak with you.
The entire ITS 2014 Wi-Fi project team is excited that we are keeping an aggressive pace and look forward to completing the next twenty buildings, as the largest wireless initiative in the school’s history moves along with success.
As always, if you are experiencing network connection issues, please contact the Helpdesk at helpdesk@ithaca.edu or 274-1000
