Active Minds at Ithaca College is working with the #getCAPSready campaign to collect written signatures for a petition. The petition urges the Board of Trustees to approve necessary funding to the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services.
The #getCAPSready campaign is a response to campus administration's decision to reject a Faculty Council request for CAPS funding. As concerned members of the Ithaca College community, the campaign's coordinators seek the empower the student voice as a tool for change. CAPS is a valuable resource for students in need of mental health services. Active Minds and the #getCAPSready campaign encourage any student who is struggling or needs help to visit CAPS. The Center is located in the lower level of the Hammond Health Center.
