All Positions open for the 2015-2016 CMA-EDU E-board - APPLY TODAY!

CMA EDU will be holding executive board elections for the 2015-2016 school year on Thursday, April 9th at 6pm in the Demotte room
ALL positions are open, they are: 

President
VP of Communications
VP of Special Events
VP of Finance
VP of Membership 

If you are interested in running for a position, please email cmaeduithaca@gmail.com with your name, major, & position you wish to run for. On April 9th, candidates will speak in front of the club addressing why they feel they are qualified for the position, what work they have put into CMA EDU so far, & what outside experience has prepared them for the position's expectations. 

Members & current officers of CMA EDU will then vote for a candidate of each position. Descriptions of positions are as follows: 
 

President - Communicates weekly with Tiffany Kerns, our CMA advisor, oversees VPs and committees on each project, should be well experienced in all logistics, history, & mission of CMA EDU. 
 

VP of Communications - Updates & posts on all CMA EDU social media sites, oversees a communications committee, works with committee to implement creative marketing, advertising, & media campaigns. Experience with social media marketing preferred. Excellent spelling & grammar required. 
 

Vp of Special Events - Manages all event logistics, schedules guest speakers & meetings, promotes campus & community events. Experience with 25Live (IC's scheduling system) preferred. 
 

VP of Finance - Tracks in-kind donations as well as all of the club's financial transactions & expenses. Business majors & experience with Microsoft Excel preferred. 
 

VP of Membership - Responsible for online registration, creates opportunities for current members & communicates directly to interested and/or new members, identifies volunteer/internship opportunities.
