Park School Grad Gives Opening FLEFF Lecture, Monday, April 6, 7pm

 "A Body in Ill Repair: Urban Housing, Public Engagement, and Temple Contemporary's Funeral for a Home" with Patrick Grossi. Monday, April 6, 7pm, Textor 103. Patrick will be the opening speaker for the 2015 edition of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival. This year's theme is "Habitats."

Patrick's presentation is sponsored by FLEFF and the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education.

Patrick Grossi is a public historian committed to accessibility, thinking seriously about non-traditional methods of engaging the past, and making every effort to allow audiences to place themselves within the historical context of the cities and spaces they inhabit. Most recently Grossi served as Project Manager of Temple Contemporary’s Funeral for a Home (funeralforahome.org) and Historical Consultant to University of the Arts/Design Philadelphia's ongoing preservation initiative, Gray Area (phillygrayarea.org).
