Contributed by Denise Nuttall

The Monday April 20th concert will be held at the Muller Chapel from 12:05 - 1:00 p.m. Come experience a blending of musical traditions which includes Indian tabla (drumming) Japanese shamysen (stringed instrument) and shakuhache (flute).

This event is cosponsored by the South Asia Program at Cornell University, the Department of Anthropology and the School of Music at Ithaca College. YO is a word which means community, this generation, this moment. This music of Yo presents the ancient traditions of Japan and India in a fresh and inspirational way. It is a celebration of global culture and community right now. Individuals with disabilities requiring accomodations should contact Denise Nuttall (dnuttall@ithaca.edu or 274 1331). We ask that requests for accomodations be made as soon as possible.
