Lab & eClassroom Software Requests for Fall 2015 Due 6/1

Information Technology Services is currently planning for software upgrades in ITS-managed computer labs, eClassrooms and meeting rooms for the 2015-16 academic year. If you need specific software installed or upgraded to support instruction, please notify Lisa Efing-Guida (lefing@ithaca.edu) and Brian Brashear (bbrashear@ithaca.edu) no later than Monday, June 1, 2015.
Please provide the following:
- Software name and version
- What lab(s) you need the software installed (building and room)
- Installation media (URL, CD’s etc.)
- Licensing information if appropriate
Please note that by semester start-up ITS-managed lab computers, eClassroom and meeting room computers will come with the following:
Windows:
- Windows computers being replaced through the Technology Renewal Program will be replaced with a Dell Ultra Small Form Factor computer
- Windows computers will remain at Windows 7 64-bit Operating System
- Computers will continue to auto login
- Computers will continue to shut down after 60 minutes of inactivity (no keyboard or mouse movement)
- Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher)
- SPSS 22 will be upgraded to SPSS 23
- Adobe Acrobat XI Professional
- Adobe Photoshop CC 2014
- Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 (labs only)
- Adobe InDesign CC 2014 (labs only)
- Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 (labs only)
Macs:
- Mac computers being replaced through the Technology Renewal Program will be replaced with an iMac computer
- Mac computers will move to OS X Yosemite 10.10
- Computers will continue to auto login
- Office 2011 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- SPSS 22 will be upgraded to SPSS 23
- iBooks Author
- iPhoto, iMovie and Garage Band
- Adobe Acrobat XI Professional
- Adobe Photoshop CC 2014
- Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 (labs only)
- Adobe InDesign CC 2014 (labs only)
- Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 (labs only)
