For the past four years, the purpose of Club Hub has been to update students on everything within the student organizations realm here at IC. After a wonderful four years, the Club Hub team and the OrgSync team have decided to join forces to expand Club Hub. Our goal is to turn the Student Organization Portal on OrgSync into a Hub for all things clubs, aka a Club Hub. What does this mean? Don’t worry. You will still get your bi-weekly newsletters to keep you up-to-date on the hottest news related to student organizations on campus.
The major change is that the Student Organizations Portal on OrgSync will now be called Club Hub.
The portal is a hub where student organizations can upload pictures, find forms, view events, and post discussions; so why not call it a hub?
We hope that this name-change will create a greater sense of community among student organizations and create a cohesive environment. To kick off the “new” Club Hub, the Club Hub team will be holding a monthly Club Hub photo contest. Each month, student organizations are encouraged to upload any and all photos that they have from events, meetings, and programs that their student organization hosts to their student organization's OrgSync portal and the Club Hub portal. The Club Hub team will pick a favorite photo each month. The winner will receive a prize and a blurb in the Club Hub newsletter. This will kick off next semester; stay tuned for more information.
Thank you to every student organization that has made Club Hub such a success thus far. We look forward to the new additions to Club Hub next year and more great issues and memories to come in the future.
