Graduation Comes Faster Than You Think: How Can We Support Our Students In Planning Ahead. This interactive and informational workshop will explore how to better prepare our students for the next steps in their life journey.

The Diversity Awareness Committee, in partnership with the Office of Human Resources, is sponsoring a lunch and presentation by Ithaca College alumna, Jessica Mayer.  Jessica will present on how to help students prepare for life after college graduation, focusing on ideas of what the student wants to do and a game plan for doing it.  Jessica will also use her life experience as a student and employee with a disability.

We hope you will be able to join us on Thursday, May 21st from 11:30 - 1:30 in the Ithaca Falls Room, in the Campus Center. You are welcome to come for just part of the time if you can't stay for the entire two hours. Please rsvp by sending and email to Jean Celeste-Astorina <jastorina@ithaca.edu> by the end of the day on Monday, 5/18. All are welcome! Lunch will be provided.

Jessica Mayer has worked in the disability field for more than 25 years and is deeply committed to identifying and eliminating myths and biases that become obstacles to hiring people with disabilities.
