Xanthe Matychak ’95, assistant professor of strategic communications, was recently invited to the Maker Cities Roundtable at the White House Office of Science and Technology. Matychak serves on the board of Ithaca’s makerspace, Ithaca Generator. Alongside representatives from twenty cities throughout the U. S., she shared stories about the technology and innovation ecosystems in their respective regions.

To carry on the spirit of the Maker Cities Roundtable, Ithaca Generator will be participating in the National Week of Making from June 12-18. The makerspace will host a weeklong series of talks and workshops that are free and open to the public.
