The Division of Institutional Advancement and Communication is thrilled to announce the launch of the Blue & Gold Society, a community of Ithaca College's top philanthropists. The Blue & Gold Society is an evolution of the President's Associates program, which has been phased out in preparation for our upcoming comprehensive campaign.

Leadership gifts are tremendously important to the college. They make students' experiences exceptional and Ithaca College one of the best colleges in the region. In 2013-14, leadership gifts provided the bulk of support for IC -- from the IC Annual Fund to scholarships, awards, and special programs.

Reflecting our pride and spirit, the Blue & Gold Society recognizes six levels of involvement:

(Alumni who graduated in the last 10 years are eligible with a gift of $500 or more, and students are eligible with a gift of $250 or more.)

As a part of this community, donors will be invited to events in Ithaca, New York City, and elsewhere around the country; receive insider communications; and share opinions in various forums, including the blog Among Leaders. Donors who made a President's Associates gift in the college's most recent fiscal year (June 1, 2014 - May 31, 2015), including many generous faculty and staff, will be included in Blue & Gold Society events and communications this fiscal year.

The Blue & Gold Society seeks to fulfill the college's goals for both engagement and philanthropy by offering communications and activities that will bring our supporters closer to the college. The community will forge lifelong relationships with the college and among its members. And those relationships will serve IC and its alumni, students, parents, and friends for generations to come.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact Jennifer Gabriel, director of the Blue & Gold Society, at (607) 274-1397 or jgabriel@ithaca.edu. Or visit our new website at ithaca.edu/bluegold.
