Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) Program Now Available

The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management is pleased to announce the reintroduction of the R.A.D. self-defense program for women at Ithaca College.

A nationally recognized leader in self-defense training, the R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) program includes content on risk prevention, physical defense, and developing self-reliance, all targeted specifically toward empowering female participants. 

R.A.D. courses taught by certified instructors will be returning to IC as an offering from Public Safety for the 2015-16 academic year, with each class to consist of nine hours of training presented over three days.  Look out for information on class registration coming soon! Visit the R.A.D. website for more information.
