I want to take this opportunity to update the campus community on changes that are being made to the Cashiering office’s hours and services.
Due to recent staffing changes within the College’s Cashiering Office, located on the 3rd floor of the Campus Center, the office will be closing effective Wednesday, July 15th. As a result, the College has entered into a service agreement with CFCU in which CFCU will be providing certain services on behalf of the College. We are working diligently with CFCU in an effort to finalize the specifics around the services they will provide and what services will be handled out of the Financial Services Office located on the 14th floor of the West Tower.
After the Cashiering Services office is closed, the space will be renovated in preparation of CFCU relocating to this space from their current location on the ground floor of the West Tower. The plan is to have the move completed before the beginning of the fall semester.
During this transition period:
1) deposits may be left in the night drop located next to the Cashiering window on the 3rd floor of the Campus Center. The night drop will be emptied daily with deposits to the bank being made on the same schedule that exists currently.
2) Cash advance requests can be made by emailing cashiering@ithaca.edu starting July 15.
Going forward:
1) Accounts payable and EZ pay checks, that in the past have been picked up in the Cashiering Services office, will now need to be picked up at the front desk of the West Tower’s 14th floor between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s .
2) Accounts receivable and collections questions should be directed to Susan Weatherby in Financial Services.
Please stay tuned for additional information as it becomes available. I want to thank everyone in advance for your understanding as we work through this transition. If you have any questions please feel free to contact either myself (Robert Cree) or Beth Reynolds.
