ITS is pleased to announce that both the Hammond Health Center and the Fitness Center have both successfully passes the testing phase and are now completed. Users of Wi-Fi in those buildings should now enjoy strong, stable, robust service.
At the same time, we have just started testing the new Wi-Fi in the Facilities Administration building, the Warehouse, and also the Center for Public Safety. We are continuously testing the performance of the network and are asking the community for feedback on any issues. Once testing confirms successful network performance, the buildings will move from ‘testing’ to a ‘completed’ status on July 23rd.
This leaves only three buildings left to go with our expected completion of the entire project this month.
The entire ITS 2014 Wi-Fi project team is excited that we are keeping an aggressive pace and look forward to the next few buildings, as the largest wireless initiative in the school’s history moves along with success.
As always, if you are experiencing network connection issues, please contact the Helpdesk
