I am pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Lippincott as Assistant to the President, effective August 10.  Amanda will succeed Bailey Reagan, whose last day is July 24.

Amanda is currently Professional Development Coordinator in the Office of the Dean, School of Humanities and Sciences.  She has worked at Ithaca College in a number of roles since January 2008, initially in Academic Enrichment Services as a counselor in the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP).  Many on the Ithaca College campus know Amanda as Chair of the Staff Council, a role she has had since June 2014.

The Assistant to the President is a leadership role within the president’s office, focused on advancement of the college’s initiatives and priorities.  Some of the specific tasks include managing the flow of communications from the president’s office, coordinating collaboration among various divisions to complete college projects, serving as liaison to key constituencies on and off campus, and organizing special projects, events and programs.

Please join me in congratulating Amanda and welcoming her to her new role.
