An increase in the student allowance for complimentary printing on campus was recently approved for the 2015-16 academic year. The new allowance was determined based on data that showed significant cost savings from the past academic year. It is anticipated to fulfill the printing needs of more than 90% of IC students.
The new allowances are:
Unused allowances from the fall will roll over to the spring semester, but all allowances will be reset after the end of the spring semester. Students can use ID Express to pay for printing needs that exceed the allowance.
The Ithaca College Print Management Program has successfully decreased the volume of student printing, reduced waste from excessive printing, encouraged responsible use of limited resources, and allowed for the introduction of networked color printing.
