Admission is free.

The Friends of Ithaca College cordially invite you to the 24th annual Founder's Day Concert in the Park. Conductor Matthew M. Marsit and the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble will fill DeWitt Park with some of the greatest melodies to grace the American symphonic and wind band repertoire. The program will feature works from Aaron Copland, William Schuman, Leonard Bernstein, and other masters.

Bring your family and friends (and a few blankets and chairs) to enjoy this fine afternoon of music. Complimentary refreshments will be available.

The Founder's Day Concert in the Park commemorates Ithaca College's founding in 1892 as the Ithaca Conservatory of Music and the rich connection between the college and the Ithaca community ever since.

For more information about the concert, and requests for special needs, please contact Jeanette Rivera-Watts at 274-1431 or griverawatts@ithaca.edu. You can learn more about the Friends of Ithaca College on their website.
