ICHired, Ithaca College's new portal for posting jobs, internships, fellowships and experiential learning opportunities, has been live to recruiting organizations for 48 days and Career Services is happy to report that it is having immediate and significant impact on the number of opportunities available to IC students and alumni.
Significant Growth In Recruiting
In a typical recruiting year, organizations that recruit at Ithaca College post 2,700 (5 year average) job, internship, volunteer and experiential learning opportunities for students and alumni. ICHired was rolled out to recruiting organizations on July 31st and as of today, 1,000 opportunities have been posted by just under 1,100 active employers. This represents 37% of our average annual postings and, while it is still early in the academic year, puts us on a trajectory for 7,500 postings during the 2015-2016 academic year.

Available To Students, Alumni, Faculty and Staff
ICHired is a modern posting platform and enhances our ability to connect with and build recruiting relationships with organizations. Every student receives an ICHired account, which can be accessed with Netpass credentials. Any alumnus can request an account as can faculty and staff. Career Services recognizes the significant role that other community members play in helping students and alumni develop their career and professional paths and we believe that ICHired will be a helpful resource when working with them.
Demos Available
Career Services staff is available to conduct demonstrations of the ICHired site for departments, classes and student organizations. Community members can request one by contacting careers@ithaca.edu.
