Marie Sanford, Clinical Associate Professor in the Dept. of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and graduate students, Anne Escobedo (Class of 2014) and Julie Balazs (Class of 2013) had a manuscript accepted for publication in The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies, Vol. 8, Issue3.  In their article, Identifying Reliable Predictors of Oral Proficiency in Non-native Speakers of American English, they reported on speakers of Mandarin-, non-continental Spanish-, Arabic-, and Hindi-influenced English.

In May, the authors were informed that this article was selected by the editorial board for inclusion in The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Annual Review.
