GAME TICKETS
Ithaca College has announced ticketing procedures for the 2015 Cortaca Jug football game, which will be held Nov. 14 at noon at Butterfield Stadium on the Ithaca campus. The 57th annual game between Ithaca and Cortland draws enthusiastic capacity crowds, so fans are encouraged to get their tickets as early as possible for the event. A limited number of tickets are available and no tickets will be sold at the stadium on the day of the game. Every spectator must have a ticket in order to enter the stadium.
Student, Faculty, Staff Ticketing: Ticket distribution for Ithaca College students, faculty and staff members will take place Nov. 2-4 at the Athletics & Events Center ticket and concession area on the east exterior concourse, facing Higgins Stadium. There is a limit of one ticket per student ID, and a student may bring one additional ID other than their own to the ticket pickup location.
There is a limit of two tickets issued per faculty and staff ID, with a limit of two IDs per person at pickup. Tickets for students, faculty and staff are free.
Ticket distribution times for each of those days are as follows:
Monday, Nov.2 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
General Public Ticket Sales: If there are any tickets available after the Ithaca College community has received their allocation, they will go on sale to the general public on a date that will be announced.
Shed the Red- FREE T-Shirts: The College will be giving away nearly 1,000 official Cortaca t-shirts to anyone who donates a red item of clothing to the Shed the Red initiative. All donated clothing items will go to the Ithaca Rescue Mission Alliance. Check back on Intercom for more information on time and dates for Shed the Red events.
A Note about Merchandise Licensing: Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland operate a licensing and trademark enforcement program for the Cortaca Jug game, and are co-owners of the registered trademark "Cortaca."
Any vendor creating merchandise (apparel, bags, writing utensils, mugs, etc.) bearing the protected term "Cortaca," whether for on-campus departments or organizations or for third-party vendors to sell in stores, must apply and then be approved to be an official licensee by both Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland. Upon being licensed, a vendor must submit for approval all designs for merchandise being created before production begins.
