Warren Schlesinger, faculty director of Ithaca College's Summer College for High School Students, attended a Schuler Foundation invitation-only dinner event in Chicago to recruit students of color and first-generation college students for IC's residential precollege summer program.
Schlesinger was invited to Chicago by the Schuler Foundation. IC has been providing precollege program scholarships to several Schuler Scholars each year. Stanford, Columbia, Emory, Carlton and ten other schools were also invited to this Nov. 6-7, 2016 event.
