The theme for the 2016 MLK Celebration is "Conscience Asks the Question"
MLK Celebration 2016 will be held from Monday, January 25 through Saturday, January 30.
Workshops are sought to fill four educational workshop sessions held on Tuesday, January 26 and Thursday, January 28 from 12:10 – 1:00 pm and from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to propose a workshop for the event.
The focus of the MLK 2016 celebration is to focus on what motivates us to be active in the movement for social justice; how to motivate others to participate; and on how we can be better activists, advocates and allies.
We are seeking a maximum of 8 educational workshops throughout the week.
Workshop submissions will be accepted until January 3, 2016. If your workshop is selected, you will be notified no later than January 8, 2016.
If you have any questions about submitting a proposal, contact Doreen Hettich-Atkins.
Proposals can be submitted by complete the MLK Program Proposal Form.
