Governance Task Force Needs Faculty Members

The Board of Trustees has asked Faculty Council to appoint 2 faculty members to the Governance Task Force as described below. Please read the charge carefully and consider submitting your name to this potentially crucial endeavor. 

 We are on a short time frame, so please submit a statement indicating your interest and expertise by Friday, December 11, 5 PM. Send an email to Rothbart@ithaca.edu. Faculty Council will select two faculty from the pool.

Approval of Revision of Governance System at Ithaca College

Resolved that the Ithaca College Board of Trustees hereby requests the Provost and Vice President of Educational Affairs to convene a task force, consisting of representatives from faculty, staff, and students, together with the faculty trustee, staff trustee, and student trustee, to review the system of governance at Ithaca College and propose any revisions to that system, in order to enhance collaboration and communication among members of the IC community.  This task force shall submit its proposal for consideration by the Board of Trustees at its May 2016 meeting of the Board of Trustees.
