The concert, featuring the 134 young women selected through a rigorous audition process was in the Eastman Kodak Theater. The women rehearsed from Thursday night through Saturday afternoon. One of the compositions they sang was Cedi Hyems by composer in residence Abbie Betinis.
Earlier this fall, Dr. Galván was the headliner clinician at the Montana ACDA Conference in Billings, Montana. She was the keynote speaker and headline clinician at the Connecticut ACDA State Conference in Hartford, CT in October.
She also conducted the PMEA District 5 chorus in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania in October.
In August, Dr. Galván conducted the Minnesota Women’s All State Chorus and presented a session at the ACDA Minnesota Summer Dialogue.
