Chip Gagnon, Professor of Politics, was an invited presenter at the workshop "Dayton at 20: An Impact Assessment".  He presented on the panel "Bosnia and the Birth of the IGO/NGO Complex."

The workshop, held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords that ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, took place December 10 and 11 at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University in Providence, RI. The workshop brought together scholars, diplomats and practitioners whose careers/lives were decisively shaped by their experiences in Bosnia-Herzegovina, to reflect on the armed conflict of 1992-1995, the way in which that armed conflict ended, and the nature of the "post-conflict" order, within and beyond Bosnia-Herzegovina.
