Internet Explorer - Older Versions Need to Be Upgraded

Microsoft will stop supporting and providing security updates for all versions of Internet Explorer below IE11 as of January 12, 2016. In addition, for services such as the Office 365/Outlook Web App, Microsoft states "You should expect the quality of the user experience to diminish over time, and that many new Office 365 experiences might not work at all with versions below IE11".

Digital Instruction and Information Services (DIIS) recommends that you check your version of Internet Explorer (even if you primarily use some other Web browser) and upgrade if needed. Technology renewal computers have been coming with IE11 since January 2015.

To check the IE version, launch IE and click the gear icon at the top right of the window (next to the star and house icons), then choose About Internet Explorer. If it is any version lower than IE11, use the link below to download and install IE11 from Microsoft's site.

It is important to not use older versions of Internet Explorer after January 11th due to potential security risks.
