02/02/16

Contributed by Dan Breen

It’s that time of year again!  ZoetIC, a literary publication sponsored by the Ithaca College English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta, is accepting original submissions from ALL current students and alumni of Ithaca College.

Work can be submitted to any of five (5) sections:

-Poetry

-Short Fiction

-Creative Nonfiction

-Drama/Screenplay

-Academic Essay

Pieces should be submitted to zoetic.submissions@gmail.com

In the subject line, please indicate the section to which you are submitting and your full name. Submit all pieces as Word attachments.  Within the body of the e-mail, please indicate the best way we may reach you. Additionally, if there is a particular professor who was instrumental in the creation of the submission and you would like to work with that professor during the revising period, please provide the professor’s name and department.

You may submit multiple pieces, but please submit each piece in its own e-mail.

The deadline for submissions is Friday March 4th.

All pieces will be considered for publication, but there is an advantage to submitting early!  ZoetIC editors will be in contact with submitters, providing suggestions to polish pieces for potential publication, and the more time they have to work with you, the better your chances are for being selected for the final publication.
