Jenny Stockdale has recently accepted an exciting new opportunity at Cornell University. She will be starting in March as the associate director of marketing communications for the School of Hotel Administration. Her last day with us will be Friday, February 26.
Since 2013, Jenny has served as the marketing communications manager for the School of Music, and has built strong relationships with many staff, faculty, and students across campus. In collaboration with the music admission team and Creative Services, she has reshaped numerous recruitment pieces and strategies for the school’s undergraduate, graduate, and summer preparatory programs.
Jenny has also worked to outline and implement a cost-effective communication plan for the school’s extensive concert season and has managed design, production, and promotion for hundreds of highlighted concerts and special events on campus and in the community.
Her more notable accomplishments include the production of a series of Summer Music Academy experiential recruitment videos, leading communication efforts and projects for two high profile ensemble tours to Lincoln Center in NYC, and managing design and promotion of the annual Commencement Eve Concert.
In addition to serving the School of Music, she worked closely with faculty coordinators and students on design and promotion for the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival, providing a new communication strategy and advertising plan. This past fall, she also stepped on board as the lead project manager for the college’s Commencement ceremony and related activities.
While Jenny has requested no farewell get together, she has many, many friends here at IC so please feel free to call (43256) or stop by 135 Peggy Ryan Williams Center and wish her well.
