The Art Department's Creative Space Gallery is pleased to present a new exhibition of mixed media work by Upstate New York artist, Nick Ruth. Please join us for the opening Friday, March 4th 5-8pm.
Nick Ruth's new work focuses on modern mechanisms that aid in communication, and how these metaphorically portray our values and desires. He contrasts these cold synthetic tools, such as billboards, utility lines, and cellphone towers, with bright patterns and colors to create his visual message.

The Creative Space Gallery strives to expand the experience of Ithaca College students through Creation, Exhibition and Education. Our downtown venue allows students to have access to space outside of the Art Department for creating new work, sharing their efforts with the greater Ithaca community and learning the logistics of operating a gallery. These experiences will further prepare students for life as a studio artist and future creative opportunities.
