Jaime Shultz, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Kinesiology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at The Pennsylvania State University, will present on genetics, sex, and sports performance Thursday March 31, 2016 in Textor 101 at 7 pm. She will also present a talk on Race & Sports Thursday morning, March 31st, at 10:50 in Textor 101.
Dr. Shultz studies the history and philosophy of sport with research interests encompassing two broad areas: 1) issues of sex, gender, and sexuality in women’s sport and physical culture; 2) racial politics and cultural memory. Dr. Shultz has published several books on the history of sport, the most recent of which are:
