Thursday, March 31, 6 p.m.: Artist Talk Pilvi Takala Handwerker Gallery  

Takala is a performance artist who puts herself into situations that test social conventions or boundaries. Her talk might be of particular interest to those with interest in sociology, psychology, and architecture. Her work is currently on view in the exhibition, NO/GOOD PLACE, on view at the Handwerker Gallery through Friday, April 22.

Biography:

Pilvi Takala (b. 1981, Helsinki)
Lives and works in Amsterdam and Istanbul

All Handwerker Gallery events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.; Thursday, 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.; and weekends, noon to 5.00 p.m.. The gallery is closed to the public on Tuesdays unless otherwise specified for an event but can accommodate group or class visits by appointment.
