Greetings Student Organizations,
Student Activities Fund 2015/2016
I am writing to inform you all that the Student Activities Fund for 2015/2016 has been allocated in its entirety. The Appropriations Committee and I are happy to have seen the Fund last until April this year, and we enjoyed working with all student organizations that we came into contact with. The college saw many brilliant student-led programs and events, and students were able to engage in great pursuits.
Any returned funds will be allocated to pending funding requests on a first-come, first-served basis. Having said that, if you know that your student organization received funding for an event, and that event did not occur, please notify me so that those funds may be allocated for future events. As a reminder, any funds received from SGA for this academic year will not be carried over into the next academic year.
Fall Funding Process 2016
Looking forward, the form for Fall Funding Process 2016 is now open and available via Orgsync and the SGA Finance webpage. This funding process is for student organizations hoping to submit Fall 2016 Operational Budgets, as well as any other budget for Block 1 of the 2016/2017 academic year. Any resources to assist with this process are available on the SGA Finance webpage.
Fall Funding Process has been scheduled for Saturday, April 23rd in the A&E Center Conference Room beginning at 10 am. Each scheduled meeting time will resemble a typical Appropriations Committee Meeting. Upon completing a submission for Fall Funding Process, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment.
