Our new students will arrive on Sunday, August 21, 2016.
Upper class students who volunteer to assist will be able to move in to their on-campus housing the day before (Saturday, August 20, 2016), and will be required to attend a training session that evening from 7:30 – 8:15 pm. Your meal plan will begin at lunch on Sunday.
If you are a member of a student organization or athletic team (club, varsity or JV), your group can all work during the same shift and talk with our new students about becoming involved in your organization!
By following the link below, volunteers can indicate the shift(s) they will work. The shifts are two hours long: 9am – 11am; 11am – 1pm; 1pm – 3pm; 3pm – 5pm. You will need to arrive at a check-in location 15 minutes prior to your shift, where you will be given your location assignment. Details on this will be provided at the training session.
We're also in need of 20 volunteers to assist with moving in our Jumpstart Program participants on Thursday, August 18, 2016. (If you're a student interested in this volunteer opportunity, you'll need to return to campus on Wednesday, August 17) This will be a day long commitment. If you have a meal plan, it will be activated starting Thursday morning. If you do not have a meal plan, lunch will be provided.
