You will learn the steps for successful transitions from student leaders on a panel. You will also have the chance to share experiences with transition that you may have had.

April 19- Techniques to giving effective feedback
Ever been told your criticism is ‘rude’? Or have you ever been offended by someone else’s feedback? If so, (and even if not) come join Theresa for an interactive session in how to provide and receive feedback within your student organization. This will serve as a forum for you to share experiences that you’ve either given or gotten feedback and how you reacted. You will learn how to take feedback and transform it into something beneficial for you and your student organization.
*April 21 - Thinking Outside the Box - Presented by Zach Tripsas
Critical thinking and decision making can be very hard to learn how to do. This interactive workshop will help you to develop those skills that will help you to be assertive and serve as a strong leader. You will be led through scenarios and asked to decide on a solution that will make this sticky situation successful. Being decisive and assertive are components of any leadership position, and you will walk away from this workshop knowing the steps to thinking critically and how to make insightful decisions for your student organization.
April 26- Market your Involvement to Employers
Your involvement in student organizations and in the Ithaca College community is so much more than an addition to your resume. In this session, you will learn how to promote yourself and the opportunities you are involved in to employers. How have these experiences helped you to grow as an individual? Employers want to see that you are engaged, committed, and passionate. This session will give the opportunity to hear from Alumni who used their involvement to get a job.
