On March 8th, PBS Newshour broadcasted “As the SAT evolves, so do opinions on its value” and published an article, “Does the SAT have a viable future?” authored by Kenya Downs, PBS Digital producer/reporter. This article used Dr. Yuko Mulugetta’s 2014 award-winning research and discussed whether the SAT has a viable future or not.
Dr. Mulugetta’s paper, “Going Test-Optional: Gathering Evidence and Making the Decisions at Ithaca College” received the Best IR/Practitioner Award from NEAIR (Northeast Association for Institutional Research) in 2014.
Her recent research, “Understanding the Impacts of the Test Optional Admission Policy” received the Best Research Paper Award from NEAIR this year. This research will be presented at the 2016 AIR (Association for Institutional Research) Forum in New Orleans in June.
Dr. Yuko Mulugetta currently serves as Director of Enrollment Planning at the Division of Enrollment Management.
