Lena Sargenti, a Health and Physical Education teaching major in the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education, received the Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship awarded from the SHAPE America, the Society of Health and Physical Educators. Lena was only one of 3 undergraduates nation-wide to be honored for her academics, leadership, and service. Lena was presented with her scholarship by Jacalyn Lund (SHAPE America President-Elect) at the recent national convention.
