Spit That celebrates 10 years

This year marks 10 years for Spit That!, IC’s only spoken word poetry club.  This milestone was celebrated last Friday night at Spit That!’s annual showcase.  Ten of Spit That!’s dedicated poets prepared and performed poetry at the showcase alongside special guest Jaylene Clark Owens, the woman who founded Spit That! In September 2006.  The room was full of emotions as each poet took the floor and wowed the crowd.  Congrats on another successful year!
